People that go to the house of God or attend church services, do so to receive the teachings of God. After receiving the teachings and they fail to make use of them, if evil should befall the people, then they have themselves to blame. There is nothing that will happen by their gnashing of teeth or complaining that God has not done well.
If they are not careful their problems could be compounded by God inflicting more punishment on them. Many people die suddenly everyday because they heard the words of God but fail to use them for the betterment of their lives.
Similarly many people fall everyday because they refuse to use the words of God they heard in the church. These people see God and His messengers as foolish people. Their failure to practise the teachings of the Lord brings about Satan blocking their ears and making the words of God to be nothing to them.
Why are the children of God falling into pit or fall down and Satan would start mocking them.It is because of their disobedience to the words of God and failure to put them into practice. Jesus said in the book of Luke 6:46-49 “Why do you call me Lord, and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and put them into practice…” imagine a person told me he was suffering and did not know why God did not intervene into his matter.
Angrily I responded that if care was not taken he would perpetually be suffering for life. Why? He refused to heed and obey what the spirit of God instructed him to do. He felt so bad with my response and saw it as a slander. But I did not allow that to bother me and saw him as a person who was not ready to enhance the work of God. Brethren, it is imperative for people to know the leader or head of their churches and to learn a lot from the servant of God.Some of the heads or leaders of churches know themselves very well.
For instance there is nothing I eat, drink or do that I cannot stop doing. There is no enjoyment or catching of fun that I did not do. But when the time came I stopped everything willingly. It was not the Holy Spirit that instructed me to do so. Therefore people should know themselves very well and have the courage and power to take decisions that would be of benefits to them.
People have the grace and power to abstain from habits and ungodly acts that are detriments to God’s relationship with people. In as much as God made man to have dominion over other creature both animals and plants (Genesis 1:28). So also man should have power to over ungodly acts to reject them in all ramifications. Therefore people have power over adultery, stealing, fornication, etc.
When people do not have power over all these acts then they are sinners. These people may be loved by others but heavenly kingdom would kick against them. It behoves on all the servants of God to teach their followers the right ways of God. The Bible says in Hebrew 13:7 “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you, consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith”.
As a prophet / messenger of God, I always use myself as example for my followers and want them to believe me because the Bible says 2 Chronicles 20:20 “…Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith his prophets and you will be successful”. My teachings both in practice and theory, emphases are made on the need to place God above any other things either man or material.
Many people are using the teachings and they are practising them and they are successful. The Bible says in Matthew 10:37 Jesus said “ Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me”. The children of God need not to suffer if they obey and adhere strictly to the words of God and of His prophets.
The understanding of how God Almighty does things is paramount for people. This will enable them to follow God’s ways and that of the prophets, obey divine instructions. Whatever the prophets of God tells a person and fails to obeyed, then problems, affliction and suffering will be the consequence of disobedience.
The Bible says in Exodus 15:26 “…if you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases…” In the same vein, there are blessings for people who are obedient to the words of God and His prophets.
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:14 “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands that I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your
God…” Brethren disobedience is the foundation of sin and death is the wages of sin. Therefore I fervently pray that the spirit of disobedience will be cast away in the life of people in the name of Jesus.Let people who are followers of Christ endeavour to put into practice the teaching of the Lord so that their lives might have meaning.
