    SMEs charged on CSR engagement

    CHIEF Operating Officer of 7even Interactive, Taiwo Agboola, has charged organisations, Small Medium and Enterprises SMEs to engage the acts of meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility in other to better their host communities.

    Speaking at the celebration of the agency’s two years anniversary in Lagos, Agboola said: “It’s time other corporate organisations, Small Medium and Enterprises, SMEs, emulate our good works by engaging in meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).Towards the close of 2016, as a culture, we engaged in an advocacy campaign against the chronic societal ill, rape, as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contribution to humanity and the Nigerian society in general. If SMEs and other organizations can emulate such gesture then the effect of recession would be reduced in our society.”

    Agboola stressed that his young organization has what it takes to drive Nigeria in the light of the new market realities especially in this era of digital awakening and highly mobile target audience. He urged his colleagues to brace-up for the challenges ahead as the agency revs into its third year of operation which promises to be more fun and exciting than the last 24 months.

    ”We came at a time most businesses were closing operations but as young as we were, we were determined and ready to push and change the industry graph  in a positive light.”

    Within the last 24 months of opening our doors, we berthed signature, mold-breaking creative campaigns and outstanding marketing solutions for clients,” he stated.
