    NTDC to ensure hitch-free travel experience for tourists at Kaduna Airport

    The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) said it had set up a six-member committee to ensure a hitch free travel experience for tourists at the Kaduna International Airport.

    Th  Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja has been closed for six weeks for minor repairs.
    The Assistant Director, Press Unit of the corporation, Mrs Adamma Afanga disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja.

    The statement quoted the acting Director-General of the corporation, Mrs Mariel Rae-Omoh as soliciting the support of the management of the airport when she and the six-member committee visited the airport.

    “The six-man committee will ensure easy and safe travel experience for both foreign and domestic tourists.

    “The NTDC sought for the support of the airport management to set up Tourism Information Desks at the arrival and departure halls, through which the corporation promotes tourism in Nigeria to both the foreign and domestic tourists.”

    Rae-Omoh said that the corporation also inspected some hotels in Kaduna to ascertain their readiness to receive tourists.
