    AANI to become think-tank for national devt – Bolaji

    ABUJA—THE newly-elected executive committee of Alumni Association of the National Institute, AANI, led by the President, Khaleel Bolaji, has said the association will become think-tank for national development.

    This was stated in the speech made by Bolaji on behalf of members of the association at the inaugural meeting held at the AANI’s secretariat in Abuja, where he said the new executive will build on past achievements of the outgone executive of the association.

    Other members of the association include Hajiya Aisha Dankani, Vice President; Dr. Nasirdeen Usman, Secretary General; Bello Simpa, Assistant Secretary General; Ogbonna Onyeisi, Publicity Secretary; Omoniyi Fagbemi, Financial Secretary; Olu Akadiri, Treasurer; Mrs Christy Mbonu, Welfare/Social Secretary; Ibrahim Gambo, Internal Auditor, and Air Commodore Ademola Onitiju (rtd.), Legal Adviser.

    Bolaji said: “We are sincerely grateful for the peaceful election of members of Alumni Association of the National Institute, AANI, on March 4 at its 37th Annual General Meeting at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Study, NIPSS, Kuru, Plateau State.

    “ANNI will no longer be just an association, but with our new vision and mission as executive members saddled with the responsibility to ensure the association wax stronger and greater, we will become a think-tank, a platform where national policies will be discussed and implementation strategies proffered to achieve the noble mission of NIPSS.
